Trusted Preview Stabilization
GFX Studio now has a public preview path for designing live graphics in the browser, operating them with Preview and Program control, and sending clean browser output into OBS, Wirecast, vMix, and similar production tools.
The preview is meant for exploration, feedback, and workflow testing. It is not ready for critical production shows yet.
What's New
- A clearer Designer → Operator → Output workflow for building, checking, taking, and clearing graphics.
- Canva-style graphic design for lower thirds, titles, show cards, bugs, overlays, slates, and simple graphics packages.
- Deko-style live operation with Preview and Program surfaces so unfinished edits stay away from output.
- Clean browser output designed to be captured by OBS, Wirecast, vMix, and similar livestreaming or production tools.
- Project export support through
.gfxproject.jsonfiles so preview testers can keep work between sessions.
Current Limitations
- The public preview runs on staging infrastructure and may sleep, restart, or wake slowly.
- Project persistence is not available yet. Export
.gfxproject.jsonfiles to keep work you care about. - Billing, teams, workspaces, production storage, durable login, and production hosting are not available yet.
- The preview is not intended for critical production shows, paid broadcasts, or events where graphics failure would be costly.
Recent Internal Milestones
- Stabilized the marketing-to-preview path from MixUp.live to the hosted GFX Studio preview.
- Clarified the product positioning around browser-based broadcast graphics for small teams and creator shows.
- Documented the preview export model so testers know when to save
.gfxproject.jsonfiles. - Added SEO guide pages for browser-based broadcast graphics and clean output workflows for OBS, Wirecast, and vMix.
Coming Next
- More durable project persistence and production storage.
- Clearer workspace, team, and account flows.
- More operator-focused controls for fast live graphics workflows.
- Additional templates and example graphics packages for recurring live shows.
Preview note: Open the preview, test the Designer → Operator → Output loop, and export .gfxproject.json files before leaving the session if you want to keep your work.
